I took during a trip in Spain and France. Several years ago, the first Japanese astronaut to go in space once said. “I didn't see any borders between countries.” I was still a child when I heard those words and it impressed me a lot. So I wanted to experience crossing the border between countries myself. I started from Barcelona then I traveled from city to city all the way to Paris. When I crossed the border between Spain and France, I was on a bus watching cartoons on a TV screen. I almost didn't notice I had crossed the border. It made me realize that in some cases, crossing the border between countries can be very simple. It reminded me of what the astronaut said. In 2021, I realized that the anticlimactic experience was freedom and peace.
 
 

 
国境はシルベスターキャットの記憶
 
宇宙飛行士が言ったメッセージ「わたしには国境は見えなかった。」それは子供だった私にとって、とても印象的でした。わたし自身で国境を越えたいと思う様になりました。初めて陸路で国境を越えた時、わたしはバスのテレビでシルベスターキャットのアニメを見ていました。国境を越えたことに気づく事ができず、拍子抜けしたのを覚えています。2021年、それは自由や平和を表していたということを実感しました。
